Boston Veterinary Care, the outpatient veterinary hospital of the Animal Rescue League of Boston, is looking for experienced Veterinarian’s to join our team as we prepare to move into a beautiful, state-of-the-art new hospital. Boston Veterinary Care provides high-quality preventive and primary care to client-owned pets, but our impact reaches much further. As part of a nonprofit organization, the work we do helps support Animal Rescue League’s broader mission and community programs focused on keeping pets healthy, safe, and with the people who love them.

The Veterinarian We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a veterinarian who is confident working independently while still enjoying collaboration with a close-knit team. Because surgical capability is an important need for BVC, candidates should bring at least two years of small-animal practice experience along with strong, efficient surgical and dental skills.
Beyond clinical ability, you’ll fit well here if you value compassionate, low-stress patient care, thoughtful client communication, teamwork, and the opportunity to contribute to something larger than the individual practice. BVC is looking for a doctor who can provide excellent medicine while helping build a strong and capable team in its new space.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive annual salary of $145k/year for a 32-hour work week, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates
- 32 Hour/4 Day Work Week
- Relocation reimbursement of up to $2,500 for eligible moving expenses
